Toddlers (12 – 24 months)
Stepping Stones Academy nurtures your child’s development to help them reach their full potential. With the assistance of our friendly, patient and experienced teachers, we provide your toddler with undivided care and support. Some of the focus areas for children in this class are:
- Learning about their feelings and feeling valued and secure in their relationships
- Expressing needs and wants by communicating their emotions, gestures, sounds and eventually words
- Using baby sign language to foster communication skills
- Picking up small objects, throwing a ball, stacking blocks, walking and running
- Learning simple problem solving through exploration
- Feeling competent and proud about what they can do
